This is one of my favorite songs. Formerly written as a poem, I decided to put it to music. John Capek, songwriter, arranger, and musician was the man God chose to assist me in relaying this message to believers and unbelievers in this world.
The lyrics for the most part were written in Bernalillo, New Mexico back in 1984. The poem, formerly titled, Humility, was submitted to John in 2021 and retitled, I Heard the Voice. It speaks of my search for an intimate relationship with my Maker and Lord of all. I can thankfully report that the search has been wonderfully successful.
